Should Non-Engineering Majors Take Science SAT Subject Tests?

I don’t plan on going into the science field when I get older, and I am fairly certain about this. Would there be any point in taking one of the SAT Subject Science tests?

I might be able to do well on some of them if I studied, but it seems a little pointless since I won’t be needing those skills later. Also, some people say you should take one to “show that you are smart”…I don’t think that’s true, but what do you think?

By the way, I do like math and will definitely take the Math IIc test. I hope to major in something like economics, but who knows.

Thanks!
