Should she retake SSAT in January

<p>Our daughter (8th grade) took SSAT in December. Her score was lower than what she was doing on practice exams.
Verbal 713 (79%tile)
Math 734 (84%tile)
Reading 713 (87%tile)
Total 2160 (86%tile)</p>

<p>Milton, Nobles are among the selective schools she is applying to. Should she retake in January to increase her chances? if anyone applied to these or similar schools in the past with similar scores/%tiles, your advice will be greatly appreciated</p>

I think that with your daughter’s SSAT, she should have a pretty good chance at Milton (~85-90%). I’m not sure about Noble, though.
However, you should consider other contributing factors, too. Like

Application
Extracurricular
Recommendation,…
