First SAT test: 1360, 730 math and 630 verbal. More than a year later, after many SAT cancellations the second test was 1250, 650 verbal and 600 math.
She has applied to most of her schools already and submitted her first score. Is it worth super scoring for the extra 20 points in verbal? Her schools are BU (ED), Syracuse, and several large public universities. All are test optional this year.
I’m of the opinion that 20 points to a total of 1380 is worth it, but seeing a 130 point drop in math may not be overlooked. I know colleges say that this does not matter, but they can’t “unsee” it.
