<p>Colleges do pride themselves on having services available to make college accessible educationally and socially to people suffering from physical and mentallic disabilities. Especially if the student’s essay is focusing on how she has OVERCOME disability (rather than wallowing in self-pity/self-loathing) the issue can be a great addition to any college letter and should not pose, in and of itiself, and insurmountable setback to admissions.</p>
