I actually moved it again to the Parent’s Forum. 
If the OP is relatively new and/or does not refer to DS or DD, I have no way of knowing if the poster is a parent or a child, and will assume that s/he posted it in the correct place. Some of the students have been known to start rather weighty discussions.
The vast majority of threads that I move are from prep school admissions into the parent’s forum. The parent’s forum was set up to be mainly (although not exclusively) a place where the question is asked by a parent, directed to other parents, with the expectation that the answers would come from mostly parents. The Prep School Admissions forum is primarily for students asking the questions or for posts that are directed to or will be of interest to students. Of course, students are free to post on the parent’s forum, and vice versa. The cafe is the prep school version of High School Life, where students have their stream of consciousness conversations like “Never Have I Ever.” Prep School Chances is self-explanatory. There is no separate stream of consciousness forum for parents, a la the Parent’s Cafe.
