I still didn’t get anything about that. Got the Orien. packet.

I don’t know about the housting information, but you seem to have gotten a hold of the abreviation dictionary.

^You are so funny…

Thanks, sugar

If I remember correctly, we get that in August.

I’m just hoping I don’t get stuck with the dorm that is across the street from my house. . .

Which dorm is that, Shoreland?

Nope. If I told you, I would be giving away almost exact location - but I can tell you when you get here. :)

I hoping that I don’t get stuck with some uptight, complete-conservative, right-winged jerk as a roomate. Anyone that is willing to adapt will be cool though.

What’s you guys worsts’ fears when it comes to your dorm/roomate?

My worst fear is that I will have one. :P

Actually, if I do have one, I want her not to play music and watch TV all the time. But if she is studious and has similar academic interests, all is good.

My worst fear is that I will have one.

Robertsont06: Why don 't you want me as a roommate?

My worst fear is that I will have one.

And I agree entirely with Katharos…no TV allowed! haha :)

I don’t watch TV anyway; I haven’t for years - though I do watch movies.

Yeah, I watch movies while doing academic stuff. I’ll work on a paper and watch a movie or five. :)

my worst fear is that my roommate and i will never get along and that our personalities wont mesh at all, whether it be due to completley differnet interests or something. that’d suck oxen balls.
but if she has diff interests but respects mine as well, then all is well.
oh man i hope i have an awesome roommate.
it sucks more bc im so introverted at first so i tend to give a first impression as boring and dry.

No way are you introverted & shy!!!

AHAHAHAH
i have social anxiety panic attacks and totally muten up when im around ppl i dont konw.

actually im half kidding.

and i seriously resent my stupid timid introvertedness that serves as a barrier to everything/everyone new.

cookiemonkey - remember that everyone will be in the same boat, more or less - and you have been talking online to your future classmates. Work on your yoga of the summer - the relaxation and breathing techniques help if you get a little nervous.

My son just got his housing confirmation letter in the mail this weekand now they will be getting all you first-years sorted out. I believe you will receive your housing assignment and roommate contact info in early August.

thanks ohio_mom
it is very much reassuring to think… im not alone!!! :)
