Should you get a job in undergrad?

To clarify, if you want to become an let’s say an engineer one day, in undergraduate how much would it help you to do an internship in engineering?

If you aren’t focused on partying and enjoying yourself and you are seriously considering a job in a subject already in undergraduate what should you be doing aside from studying for your courses and standardized exams?

CNC the best thing you can do is show that your well rounded. Being part of an engineering club, volunteering (Community service), every having a part time job helps. Attending any type of seminars helps during the interview, (you have an idea in order to have a decent discussion on a topic that matters to the job)…Recruiters want to see that you have intellectual abilities but you also have the communication skills thats essential to successful engineers.

And yes, any internship toward your career goal would be extremely helpful. I myself started in Operations to Technology and now finally made it to a great financial internship that i love. So if you dont get exactly what you want at first just keep at it!

Yes, a part-time job in undergrad is good. You gain experience and make extra income. It adds to your resume when you graduate from college too.
