My boss and his colleagues sit on the other side of the wall that separates our desks. So I always drop my things off and peek around the corner to say good morning and ask if there’s anything I can do to help them (just because things are a little quiet now and I really haven’t been working on much)! Is that alright or does it make me look bad?
It’s a good idea.
Being polite and helpful will never make you look bad. (Be sure not to interrupt them if they look busy, but other than that, it’s lovely to greet them and offer your help; if things are that quiet, you might want to send an email to let them know that you a lot of extra time on your hands and would prefer to be of service).
Great idea
