<p>Is it advisable to retake SAT/ACts to show consistency of scores to colleges (e.g. you didn’t just get lucky the first time)? Or it would be a waste of time?</p>

<p>If your goal is to score roughly the same as last test, that seems like a waste of time to me.</p>
<p>They don’t care about that. Most colleges will cherry-pick the highest scores from among lower scores and are happy to ignore the luck factor there. Unless you really think you can do significantly better, you probably have nothing to gain, and could score lower, which doesn’t really look good.</p>
