Sick on Test Day

Hello,

My son is in his school’s infirmary with a 103.8 fever. He missed the Nov 8 test date, during which he was going to take the SAT II Physics and French (with listening) tests. We were going to send his test results from this test and earlier ones to UCB/UCLA and UW-Seattle, since they have application deadlines at the end of this month.

These tests would have been nice to have, but they are not required for admission.

Do we need to “cancel his scores” or something similar to avoid having a “zero” or 200 score sent out to these schools? He never went to the test site and signed in.

Will these schools still get his other scores (SAT reasoning, Math I/II, etc) which we ordered sent, or will the entire score report be cancelled?

Thanks. My son is usually good about managing this for himself, but he’s just not himself right now.

Best Regards, T

Here ya go! (Third paragraph under “When a student needs to reschedule.”)
<a href=“Check for Test Center Closings – SAT Suite | College Board”>http://professionals.collegeboard.com/testing/sat-reasoning/test-day/mishaps

And there it is: “If a student is absent on test day, no score reports will be sent; it is not necessary to notify us.”

BTW, my son is healthy again, in case anyone was worried

Thanks Gary
