Side by Side Applicant Comparison -- IMPORTANTE!

So, my friend and I would REALLY like to go to the same schools, so a side-by-side evaluation of me and her would be much appreciated. Like, are we about “equal” for top schools? Or is she significantly better? etc…

So for the following schools, can you please give a side-by-side evaluation?

Cornell University
Harvard University
Dartmouth College
Boston College
Boston University
Tufts University
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Brandeis University

Thanks! I’ll chance you back…promise!

This is kinda funny and a little weird, but I would say that you probably have a slight edge over her for TOP schools such as Cornell, Harvard and Dartmouth. Your GPA is definitely low for these three, but your extremely strong SATs could compensate for Cornell (doubtful on Dartmouth and Harvard). Your ethnicity also will help you, more so with Brandeis and BC. I don’t really think you should worry about her, though, as you could both end up at most of these schools.

So, there’s not a significant delta, right? I always thought she had the advantage 'cause of her rank and such…

Your more rigorous course load helps you a lot
