Since people can post off the wall topics on College Confidential, i was wondering, for those of you who have sidekicks (www.tmobile.com) how do you use them during your everyday college life (excluding im, email and games) I have one and i am thinking should i leave it home for school or not?

Besides, Everyone needs a sidekick

Daya

I’ve seen some guys do lots of stuff with those things in school, it’s pretty neat but a little excesssive for texting.

well…im not in college but im going to be a jounior in high school. I totally use my sidekick all the time liek 24/7! I mean i can talk on AIM, and get on my space as well as any other website. Plus I can txt msg my friends, and email diff ppl…So to answer your question NO you shouldnt leave your sidekick @ home esp. if you already have one and use it…at least that’s my personal opinion…Plus you can update your sidekick to the sidekick 3 which is deff. cool just got mine updated and it is great soo much faster and the mp3 player is great!!

I’m looking to upgrade my phone and I have T-mobile. I think I will get a Sidekick 3.

This post was totally useless in the grand scheme of things, but whatever…

I don’t know exactly what a sidekick is, but lots of students have PDA phones… Treos are really popular. Isn’t a sidekick similar to that? I think it is… If so, theres no reason to leave it at home. You spent the money on it, use it!

it doesn’t really matter…if you use it and like it, take it. no one cares what kind of cell phone or whatever you use

You should definitely take your sidekick with you. I am a loyal SK user for years. I just upgraded to the SK3 as well and it’s amazing. Smaller, more equipped and very useful. You can use the web browser if you get lost, the camera to take photos, the mp3 player, the calendar, notes, reminders. Take mine everywhere and people always want to know what it is…haha

get a blackberry instead, more compact and more professional.
