Sigma Phi Epilson Fraternity Closes

Finally, I couldn’t stand those guys. Am I right?

The Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter has been in a bit of trouble in the past few years and I guess their nationals got fed up with trying to fix it and rather start fresh. Sigma Phi Epsilon Nationals suspended their charter thus disbanding the group at UF. T

his means quite a bit since their house is now going to be in limbo for a good bit. Typically fraternities wait 4 years before recolonizing to ensure all the members from the “revoked classes” have no influence on the new guys and they can start fresh.

As well, this is somewhat good for the rest of IFC at UF to get their actions and members in check and to be held a bit more accountable. As well, with the Sig. Ep. house now empty, Pi Kappa Phi might move into there after spring rush (provided they can fill the house with 50+ beds at the house). That’ll give them a bit more time to get a bigger group so they can build their brand new house.
