Sign that my interview went really well?

I had my Interview yesterday with a middle-aged women, she was a doctor and her son goes to Brown. I applied to plme and told her why doctor, and why intended major. She asked me to bring a resume so i did and we went in depth for the most part of the interview about my medical/science extra-cirruculars.

The interview was about 45 min, and she told me to take as long as i liked even though she told another student to wait 5-10 mintues when her 30 min session time passed.

I think she liked me but idk, might just be friendly.

But at the end she asked me if there was anything i wanted to tell the admissions comitee about any of my EC’s, experiences, classes etc. that i wanted to explain more about that didnt come off in my app.
So i told her some stuff, and she seemed more than happy to tell them it.
Does this happen for everyone, or did i actaully have a great interview lol?

anyone else who’s had an interview, or is experienced with interviews…this was only my
2nd one… chime in?

I’ve been doing interviews for Brown for 25+ years. Your interview sounds typical. She might do a nice write-up. But remember, the interview very rarely makes a significant difference in the admission decision.

Interviews are extremely varied – the ones I do, for example, are completely different from the one you describe. There is no way to tell what about your experience had to do with the interviewer, and what had to do with you, short of watching the interviewer’s other interviews or being told explicitly.

Trading interview stories on here in an attempt to figure out how well you did is only going to cause extra worry for you and/or other people here. If you feel you did well, be proud of yourself and stick with that.

If you think your interview went well, then great and it probably did. No one on here can possibly give you a discrete answer. Just stick with your own gut.

My interview lasted only ~25 minutes, but I still got in. Interviews are not the greatest indicator.

ok, thanks guys!. CC rocks my socks!!
