<p>Why can’t I log in to the OCI and add classes to my schedule?</p>
<p>Also, why are there not course evaluations on the OCI? Is it just not open until later?</p>
<p>I don’t think you can add classes until you meet with your advisor or after shopping period ends (not quite sure which). Your schedule isn’t set until after shopping period.</p>
<p>As for course evaluations, they are available from past years, you just have to change the date at the top (after clicking the first link on the left side of teh OCI page). As for this year, I think they’re only open during shopping period.</p>
<p>You have to use OCS to sign up for courses, and you can do that as soon as shopping period begins. Once shopping period begins you can go to [Yale</a> University Student Systems Homepage](<a href=“http://www.yale.edu/sis]Yale”>SIS | Banner Support) and follow the instructions from there. </p>
<p>You should be able to view course evaluations… go to [Yale</a> Online Course Information | Search Courses](<a href=“http://www.yale.edu/oci]Yale”>Yale Course Search | University Registrar's Office) and click on “search yale college course evaluations” at the top of the left side of the screen.</p>

<p>Shopping period begins the first day of class, but you can begin using OCS sometime before that - at least, I’m pretty sure I’ve entered classes into OCS before the semester started. Check SIS in a week and it will probably say when OCS will open.</p>
