Signing up for classes

so in CalSo, we sign up for classes…however, i have no idea what classes i will be enrolling. Do the advisers at CalSo help you to decided which classes to sign up? Is there a list of classes i can look at?

yea you get together in groups (you, an advisor, and other incoming freshman) and talk about requirements and classes

list of classes? theres hundreds of classes, i dont think looking at them is going to help

You should actually be looking for classes on your own already. I have selected a course list for myself (which was altared today after my Fresh/Soph seminar was filled out); hopefully, people won’t fill up my classes.

It depends on your college and your ideas of a major.

I advise that L&S majors go to the advising website to get prepared for CalSO–June is far off for now.

Not sure if it’ll help, but the Orienteering website opens on May 1st (I know it says the 18th, I asked the kPasaLNS person and she said May 1st was the new day).

BackToReality

I’ve actually checked out some classes already and even surfed ratemyprofessors.com. It’s good to have your own ideas before advisors give you theirs.

so where did u go to check out some classes? i also went to ratemyprofessors.com…haha

I went to my major department and checked that out. Then the course list at the main website. Since I’m premed, I already know exactly which classes I’ll be taking, but I also want some electives.
