I was wondering do you sign up for classes during orientation or if you do it online like some other colleges?

You register online through “Albert” but your academic advisor must approve your schedule when you go for your schools orientation, so yep you can go online and register by logging into your nyu email account and under the academics tab it should give you the option to access albert. Actually if I’m not mistaken today is the day that all students students can begin to register online.

You posted on a CAS student thread which leads me to believe you’re in CAS. You will register on the third day of orientation.

Here’s the link again to the Freshman Orientation site. This page has the list of frequently asked questions.

Tisch and Stern registration started today, LSP over a week ago. Not sure about the other schools.

Yeah, I called yesterday and they told me that I will sign up for classes during orientation. Thanks for the help. .

Y’all are lucky. My orientation year was the last one to register over the phone. It was TERRIBLE.

Old school huh? Haha my registering was pretty anticlimactic. Cause I’ve been preparing for it for days and it took like two minutes. lmao

They already had Albert but made us do it over the phone anyway, using those old school registration sheets with specific codes. Thank God they switched to online registering, which takes two seconds.
