I’m transferring to Davis from UCSD in the fall. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend orientation, so registering for classes is a little confusing.

First of all, is using sisweb pretty straightforward? It seems pretty simple, from what I’ve seen so far, but I’m not sure how I’ll actually add classes when my registration date/time occurs.

Also, I’m hoping to sign up for Spanish 1 for fall quarter, but it doesn’t show up on sisweb under “look up classes to add” (although it is in the registration guide, and I’m sure it will be offered in the fall). Do you have to wait to sign up for basic language classes or something?

If it isn’t listed in the “look up classes to add,” then it is full. The look up classes to add feature pulls up classes that still have seats available. Since u couldn’t make it to orientation I don’t believe you can sign up for classes until either pass 2 or open registration actually.

haha… this is totally random… but it seems like a lot of people from these forums are always transferring from ucsd to ucd. >__<

Another easier way is to pull CRNs from the registration catalog (if you have the one from the bookstore or even online at registrar website), and enter it into the class register sheet thing online. For Pass 1, you can only register for whats open and Pass2 you can waitlist.
