<p>My son will be attending UF in the fall. After paying ahead for housing/meals and with pre-paid tuition, there will be money coming back from Bright Futures and National Merit. Can I sign up for direct deposit to my checking account, or must the checking account belong to my son? Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>Back 07, it had be with Wachovia and in their name. That is the only reason my son got a checking account with them.</p>
<p>It could be to whichever account you want, but your son would have to sign in to ISIS to input the information. They only ask for the route and account number when I did it. Mine was sent to B-of-A, so its not limited to Wachovia.</p>
<p>Yeah, we double-checked at Preview and you can route it to any account (ours is B of A, too). D got her student ID on the second morning of preview, so we skipped out on the whole wachovia/gator card line. We didn’t need a mealplan as she’s living off-campus, so that was one line we avoided. 
Explored a little art show on campus, instead. :)</p>
