Signing up for Freshman classes - WHEN?

When do we do this? Are we all automatically scheduled to meet with an advisor first?

Didn’t you get an email from the registrar’s office? Here’s the schedule they sent me.

Monday, September 8: Academic-year Registration begins online at 7 a.m. via SCORE. (I have described SCORE later in this letter.) All students in residence for the 2008-2009 academic year must complete registration prior to selecting courses.
Tuesday, September 9 and Wednesday, September 10: Academic Advising and Course Enrollment. Your residential college will notify you of your scheduled appointment with your academic adviser on one of these two days to discuss and select courses.

Cool cool thanks, I must have missed that one!

I think for freshmen, even though you can technically log into SCORE and register, they want you to wait until you meet with your advisor and they show you how to use SCORE (I think you have appointments, and this takes place in the Friend center), so you’ll sign up for classes then.

Fear not, your email inbox will be flooded with advisor appointments and course selection appointments before too long…
