signing up for more classes than your gunna take

<p>is this wise (i just wanna amke sure im not overlooking an important detail)</p>

<p>im signing up for one or two extra classes. that way i can decide (maybe with meeting th eprofessor) which one i wanna take. i get my registration fees back right?</p>

<p>You dont get charged for the amount of classses you sign up for. And it is a good idea to sign up for many classes, that way you can decide which ones you really want to take.</p>

<p>Yes you can take 26 units if you get approval and pay the same as the person that has minimum units.</p>

<p>I think that it can happen. Very rare, yes, unlikely, yes, but I bet it has been done and will be done again.</p>

<p>I encourage people to sign up for a class or two they plan on possibly or likely taking but aren’t sure which they will end up taking, but if the chances are really low that you’ll take the class, don’t sign up for it- you could always attend and probably sign up for the class later if you change your mind, and it’s quite possible other students essentially have to take the class or really want to take the class in many cases.</p>

<p>There’s not even a remote chance I will be taking 22 units, but what happens if i get off the wait list. Does it boost me up to 22 automatically or do i have to drop a class first.</p>

<p>As far as I know, you do not, but mrmuirc thinks so and may be correct.</p>

<p>You do not have to pay more. You have to petition to take more, that’s all. If you stay an extra semester or take summer sessions, then you have to pay.</p>
