<p>OK, first I have CS lecture on M 5-6 and Math 1B discussion MW 4-5 but now I’m going to be busy from 3-4:30 on Wednesday but my math GSI has another section MW 5-6 so I was wondering if Telebears would let me sign up for it and still get both credits because if so i would be going to math discussion M 4-5 and W 5-6 and CS M 5-6???</p>

<p>Well assuming that you’re able to sign up for 2 discussions for 1 lecture, then the issue of showing up half the time for each discusison will take into account. Unless you can convince your math GSI to let this pass, it won’t work.</p>

<p>You’re basically enrolling in two discussions and “sharing” grades in between them. If I were you I’d just ask the GSI if I could attend the second half of the 2nd discussion in place of the first.</p>

<p>foxiechick9, yes telebears will let you do that. it will say is something about ‘class conflict’, but other than that it is fine.</p>

<p>I don’t think you have to do anything on Telebears. Just email and ask your math 1B GSI if he/she will let you swap sections. The only tricky part about a different GSI is having your old GSI give the new GSI all your old hw/quizzes. But since you’re just swapping times with the same GSI, there shouldn’t be any problems at all unless the section you want to switch into is incredibly packed and cannot spare a single seat.</p>
<p>I actually swapped discussion times when I took math 1B: I told my GSI that I had a class conflict when all I really wanted was a free afternoon to take my mandatory nap. She was fine with it and I just attended the discussion that I wanted instead of the one that I signed up for on Telebears.</p>
<p>really? yeah i just asked my GSI first but he hasn’t replied and I know he read the email because it sent me the notification! I think I will just ask him first thing in discussion tomorrow (monday)</p>
