Silverturtle's Guide to SAT and Admissions Success

Boogle has a 4.5. My apologies.

^ But it’s not a GPA. :)

In any case, let’s stop discussing irrelevant things now.

:)
Sorry, silverturtle, I am not here to be disputatious; I love having debates.
I wanted to battle mifune but he is currently on a CC Hiatus.

Hey silverturtle, is this sentence grammatically correct?

–He felt that he was faced with too many hurdles.

I, too, am never hesitant to engage in debate about things that matter, as I’m sure many CC’ers are aware. But debating for the sake of it and slinging around logical fallacy accusations serves no good purpose.

If you are an anti-evolution theist, I’m sure that you will get a very exciting debate in the HSL forum when mifune returns.

Yes, it looks good to me.

Ouch, that was a caustic comment.

Caustic or candid?

candid. 10char

@Silverturtle: thanks for the clarification.

OMG silverturtle! You got a 2400!??? Do you get laid more often now?

^ There’s a study on that very subject. Dropping your SAT score casually at a bar is a very effective ice breaker.

If you are legally in a bar you would be almost out of college and if your still using your SAT scores as an ice breaker that’s too bad.

^Ignorance on two parts.

A) Clear sarcasm was clear.

B) As if only 21+ go into bars.

abrasive, acerbic, acid, acrid, alkaline, astringent, biting, corroding, erosive, keen, mordant, pungent, tart

Really…?

^He was being sarcastic…

*She was being sarcastic.

Niccceeee. Copied and pasted it straight out of an online thesaurus. In alphabetical order too.
I’d like to watch one of your live debates. Now I really want to know, are you a national debate champion?

Silverturtle,

I know I have the capability to do well on the Math section, but my highest Math score on CB’s old PSAT tests so far is 70 (then 62, most recently 65).

I think the reason for this - besides stupid slip-ups that I am working hard to catch - is how rushed I am on the Math section. (It’s specifically a Math problem, too; I finished the Writing section in 15 minutes this time and still got an 80). Do you have any suggestions for working faster?
