I am going to be taking this question to a counselor at UCR as well as this forum, but I wanted to ask just in case anyone has any experience here.

I’m currently enrolled in an Intro to Research Methods class at my CCC and the only course I have left to take as a pre-req at UCR is their Psychological Methods: Research Procedures course. These are not articulated on assist.org. I was wondering if anyone has ever asked about articulating courses that aren’t specified that way or has heard of anyone doing so.

The research methods course would need to be specific for Psych majors in orders to articulate. I’m a Sociology major, and for UCLA we have to take a research methods course as well. Some incoming Soc transfers took a general research methods course majors and it was not accepted because it had to be for Soc majors specifically. I’d imagine Psych is similar.

@2016Candles It is specific for Psych majors. I figure asking won’t hurt, and if need be I can just switch to another school in my district to take a course that they offer that does articulate on assist in the Spring so that my TAG contract remains valid. Thanks for your input!
