Simons rock to Wharton

Self explanatory title…
Stats - 3.9 GPA
Literary journal and Community council ( both started freshman year)
NO SATs!

2 years interning with this place called ontrac when I was still in Oregon.
I got 80 hours of volunteer work.
So… Yeah… Do you think I have any chance? I’m probably gonna take my SATs soon so any score I should shoot for? Any other business schools to apply too?

Thanks in advance.

Anybody???

I think if you put in more info about your ECs and other stuff, I can give a better response. As of the moment, I can’t really see anything other than okay GPA and some volunteer hours.

Let’s wait till you get your SATs. If you can get an SAT reasoning test score of above 2100+, you may have a decent shot. You surely have to improve the amount of extracurriculars and make them show your interests. I would think that most applicants to Wharton will have much better cases than you, with your current activities and stats. Also, the essays are important, so it is hard for us to measure your chances yet.

Go look at businessweek’s report on business schools. Select a few that look compelling to you, then do extensive research on each of them so that you can find the one that fits you the most.
