Simple question

When princetonreview or collegeboard report the percent of accepted students who were in the top ten percent of their graduating class for a specific college, are they using the class rank submitted with the application (usually before the end of the first semester) or are they using the class rank the high school reports at the end of the senior year (the final class rank)? Just curious.

I’m not really sure, but my guess would be the class rank from the application. Just because it would be easier to report statistically.
