<p>M considering public schools right now, for private colleges will cost me a fortune…But ppl always tell me the “sink or swim” in public schools. Is that serious in UNC?</p>
<p>Don’t believe everything you hear (or read). Everyone is always trying to deride public schools especially on CC where everyone is hung up on Ivies and so called “more elite” schools.</p>
<p>UNC will be what YOU want it to be; if you want small classes you can get them. If you want to develop relationships with professors you can do so. If you prefer big classes and anonymity you can also achieve that. It’s really up to you; it may require a little more effort in scheduling etc but it can be done and is done every day.</p>
