I’ve just read the last 3 pages of the newest thread-from-h***, that I STARTED (ugh!)…the Evolution vs. Religion one. (If you haven’t been there, take my advice and DON"T GO THERE!) Why is it that some people have to get SO nasty on CC? So, I’ll just hunker down over my drink and stay in here where I THINK I’ll be safe.</p>
<p>I’ve always wondered: why does religion seem to bring out the worst in people? But I always read the threads with interest, trying to understand the mindset.</p>

I’ve been out to dinner with my 2 s’s. Older s has only been here 3 days and leaves tomorrow. DH is out of town. So I got the boys to myself for dinner. It was a great mother’s day present. If she goes off the deep end in <em>those</em> threads, well… I don’t know. But she is one of the most cogent wise posters in the college/parenting regular fare. Just mho.</p>
