That looks delicious

I hope I’m allowed to ask a question here…
Anyone know of a really good margarita mix you can buy easily, or have an easy/very tasty margarita recipe? I know, it depends on what you like, but I can pick and choose if people make suggestions.
I usually use Casamigos or Williams Sonoma brand, the the WS near me is no longer there, and they haven’t been on sale lately either.
Thanks in advance
ETA - we don’t need “the finest ingredients” - just a good margarita. These days we’ve been using Reposado tequila, if that matters at all, but I am not a connoisseur.

No mix!!!

From memory the ratio is 1/3 each of Tequila, lime juice, and triple sec.

Also, adding tequila to Trader Joe’s Jalapeno limeade makes a great drink that’s margarita-adjacent.

ETA here’s a screenshot of the NY TIMES recipe (with a 5 star rating!) With slightly different proportions:

Agree no mix needed.

I found this citrus margarita recipe shortly after moving to San Diego. It’s very tasty.

And here’s Rick Bayless’ restaurant recipe:

I like the Trader Joe’s Organic Margarita mix.
I start with a good tequila, margarita mix, a bit of fresh orange juice, a splash of Cointreau and a fresh lime slice.

In a pinch we’ve used frozen limemade (unconstituted) Grand Marnier and tequila, which isn’t bad. But there really is no substitute for homemade and it’s pretty easy.

A skinny margarita is my favorite, and very simple to make.

2 ounces of good tequila

1 ounce lime juice(one squeezed lime)

1/2 ounce light agave nectar

Some drinks from our trip to the Cape.

On the way down we stopped at the Wequassett resort for lunch and a refreshing cocktail. This is their Classic Blueberry. It’s blueberry vodka and hard lemonade.

As luck would have it,when we arrived at The Red Inn to check in, it was happy hour. We grabbed a table on the covered deck and my wife ordered a peach mango sangria and I went for their signature Tea-tini. I may have had two… It’s house-made Earl Grey infused Plymouth Gin, Triple sec, sour mix, with a sugar rim.

We had a wonderful dinner at the inn that night and on the recommendation of our waiter my wife ordered a tasty Italian Gavi from Villa Sparina. I’ve already purchased some bottles for the house. It’s only $15 a bottle. Let’s see if it tastes as good at home as it did on vacation.

We made the obligatory stop at The Lobster Pot for lunch. If you go, do The Top of The Pot, because sitting on the second floor around the bar is the best experience. I had their Absolut Blueberry Lemonade but didn’t take a photo.

One day I left my phone at the inn, which was really nice, so no pictures that day.

We had dinner at Jimmy’s Hideaway one night, but I stuck with Pinot Noir, so no pics.

One of the warmer days we had lunch on the water at the upper deck of Pepe’s Wharf. I started with the Pepe’s Lime Rickey. It’s raspberry vodka, triple sec, lime, cranberry and ginger ale.

Because it was warm we both decided to have a mudslide for dessert.

This is my usual go to Ketel One Gimlet pre-dinner cocktail I ordered at Ross’ Grill.

There were also more libations consumed back at the inn on their deck along the water where we had some really good conversations with locals and tourists alike. See below.

Tea-tini at another happy hour.

Espresso Martini nightcap on the deck.

A Fortaleza Reposado Mexican Mule on our oceanfront deck outside our suite.

P-town is such a fun place. If you can’t enjoy yourself there it’s a you problem, not a there problem.

“ you problem, not a there problem.”

That made me smile. I’m going to guess the typo is just a typo and perhaps due to Siri and not because of all of those cocktails

No typo, P-town is special because that town welcomes everyone. If you don’t like it there that’s on you. Everyone is happy and relaxed. I appreciate that type of environment.

Thank you, @ChoatieMom for all the bourbon tour info. We have 3 tours booked and then one will be a drop in. Now need a good lunch suggestion, somewhere between Four Roses and Buffalo Trace. Anyone?

Trying a new one tonight, Golden Hour. It’s got vodka, St. Germain, Aperol, and lemon. Topped with a splash of club soda. Very refreshing.

The Golden Hour sounds delicious! I think I’ll try to recreate this at home since I have the ingredients.

Last night I enjoyed an Aperol Spritz while watching the All Star game withD2.
