Here’s another acronym I have seen used but not explained; I think it means you committed and sent in a deposit to your school of choice, I’ve seen it as “I’ve SIR’d to Berkeley”. What does it stand for? Sent In Response? Signed In wRiting?

I am probably going to feel very dumb when you tell me the answer.
