I am competing in a business competition at the National FFA Convention next fall, and as long as I’m going to USC, I can think of no better way to prepare than enrolling in a few applicable classes at the Marshall School. But in case the university doesn’t let me enroll in a few classes for a few months, would anything happen if I just walked into them and took notes? Would the professors mind, get mad, or even care?

If it matters, I’m going to be an engineering major.

You can easily walk into large lectures and no one would notice or care that you were there. For smaller classes though, like under 40, then you might have to check.

Sorry, I misread your question. As long as you don’t exceed the 18 credit limit and the class you want to take doesn’t have prerequisites, then you should be fine.

Plus you can take all of them pass/no pass, which is a godsend for some classes with curves. You can take up to 24 units in non-major classes P/NP, but engineering majors rarely take more than 4 units P/NP (the 4 units you are allowed to take G.E. courses P/NP) I’ll probably take only 8 units P/NP in my whole undergrad.
