Size of Acting and MT classes?

There are 20 kids in these classes - isn’t that a lot? I’m trying to decide between Northwestern and Yale for Musical Theatre. The classes at Northwestern are great, so are the professors but 20 kids is a real negative to me. Can anyone help?

That sounds larger than what I understood their size to be. But I’m not in theater, so I have no idea.

I think the website says up to 20 students, but never over. So, I guess it would depend on how many people audition for the MT program and whether or not they choose to enroll 20 people. Though, in my honest opinion, I really do not think 20 students is a lot–most acting/MT classes, consortiums, etc. are capped at 20 or so students…and even then, you may be broken up into smaller sections for individual work.
