Thanks @ucbalumnus that was good to know. My friend got into SJSU for Biological Sciences major last year with 2.7 gpa, guess in a way depends on year/number of applicants.
I’m really not picky with which UC I would like to get into (not with my gpa at least). I’d really love to get out of CC this year at any cost. The fact the SJSU declined me scares me about the results I might expect from UC. Hope I at least get a provisional admit, so I can boost up my gpa knowing I got a seat.
If I get declined everywhere, then yes, I’m planning to the same what you stated.
