<p>Hey I’m going to college next year and I want to get a longboard to cruise around on; however I can not afford to buy a mini longboard for $150 right now. I have a regular street skateboard right now, so could I put longboard wheels on my board? Will it have the same “cruising” affect?</p>
<p>You’ll probably end up getting wheel bite if you have street trucks.</p>

<p>i guess you could try that. it’ll look really bad though and i’m not sure how well it’ll work. that said, i’ve never tried it. personally i’d just walk around; you don’t really need a skateboard to ride around. it’s really inefficient.</p>
<p>risers are annoying and I can’t imagine that being very stable with a skateboard deck since it’s so much more concave and light</p>
