<p>What’s the closest ski resort to CMU? Is it any good?</p>

<p>I’ve heard 7springs is prob the closest good mountain about an hour from pittsburgh. <a href=“http://www.7springs.com/directions.shtml[/url]”>http://www.7springs.com/directions.shtml&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>Right, Seven Springs and Hidden Valley are about an hour east of CMU - Seven Springs may be the best skiing between New England and the Rockies. Canaan Valley, WV is about 3 hrs. SE of campus. Then you have Holiday Valley, Peak 'n Peek, and Cockaigne - maybe 3-4 hrs. away - in extreme SW New York, roughly between Erie, PA and Buffalo.</p>
