<p>I did a search and found a mention of a varsity alpine ski team; however, when I looked at the schedule and roster, the dates where from the 1990’s. Is there a current team?</p>
<p>Yes. I don’t know anything about it, but I have two friends who participate.</p>
<p>Does anyone have any information on the current team? Where do they practice? How many races? Is transportation/lodging provided? Do they offer somewhere to store equipment? What costs are involved?</p>

<p>My husband’s a freestyle skiier, so he wasn’t on the alpine team, but he knows a little about them.</p>
<p>He says they spend IAP (the month of January, when MIT doesn’t have class) at Waterville Valley in New Hampshire training. He thinks that during the rest of the winter, they have non-snow workouts (and races, of course). He doesn’t know about costs.</p>
