<p>Does anybody know if this is a good job to apply for?</p>
<p>I know a guy who had that job. Although it was part of him being a hospitality/phone bank person. It’s a great job if you have trouble focusing on doing homework and can force yourself not to bring a laptop. At least that was his best experience with it.</p>

<p>I really want a job that I will be able to do my homework while working (which I heard is popular for on campus jobs).</p>
<p>I mean, you’ll probably have short but frequent interruptions at peak time when people come in and need wristbands, but you just scan their ID, given them a wristband, and that’s it. I guess it depends if that would annoy you while doing hw or not…I’m sure you could definitely do hw during that job, though…</p>
<p>I mean that it’s a job where you have to sit still for a few hours at a time, and if you don’t bring a laptop you will get a lot of work done. Of course it would be helpful if you picked a timeslot that was really unpopular for people to go to the gym.</p>
<p>I’m kind of embarassed to say it but in two years at CMU I’ve never even been to Skibo gym. The UC is so much newer.</p>
