So Colby College and Bowdoin College regular decisions are both expected to come out tomorrow. I hope it won’t be much longer for Skidmore. And my daughter still has Tufts and Harvard to hear from, which both said they expect to be on March 26. Good luck to all
I just got off the phone with the Skidmore admissions office, and the woman told me that they are very close to releasing decisions. She said it should be out by Sunday of this week. She said we would get an email to check our portal, and then they would follow up with some thing in the mail. She also told me that all accepted student days have been canceled for this spring due to coronavirus concerns.
Thanks for the information. My daughter really loves Skidmore. Keeping my fingers crossed for her and all others waiting to hear soon!

While you are waiting, could you tell me what you like best about Skidmore and what you feel the predominant vibe is? I’m trying to help my junior D expand her college list and I think it might be an academic fit but I’m not sure about the social fit yet. And not the best time to plan a spring visit! I’d greatly appreciate any comments and opinions.
Super friendly students on campus and the buildings have lots of windows and have lots of colorful artwork and sculptures. Beautiful campus, with very inviting student body and staff

Hi all, I made post number 21. I had talked to a lady in the admissions office last Thursday morning- before they decided to close Skidmore’s campus to students. Not sure if that would’ve delayed the notifications. We are hoping to hear soon
The portal changed!
My portal only contains a checklist stating what they received, wondering if I have the correct address of the portal. Can anyone include the address of the portal.

It seems that it’s the same other than it doesn’t say that you can add more documents and that it will take 5 business days to process… etc.
