Out of curiosity, those who are getting accepted, are you applying for financial aid? How much?
Accepted! 4.14 GPA / 1510 SAT 
My daughter also had a 1510 on her SATs, lots of AP courses and extracurricular activities, but we would’ve needed a lot of financial aid. she got waitlisted. I know that Skidmore is a need aware school ? Congratulaions to those who were accepted
My son got an invitation to a Filene Music Scholar audition about Feb. 15, which implied he was accepted, and then an acceptance letter written by the music dept. Feb. 29. Early this morning he got another acceptance letter, this time written by admissions. along with a new (but identical to the earlier one) financial aid letter.
So I don’t know if letters are going out at different times today, but it does seem to be a day for letters. Good luck to everybody!

Did you apply for financial aid?
Based on Skidmore’s CDS, they only moved 5 wait listed students to acceptance last year. I would advice that your daughter have a good back up plan. See the attached link
Rejected! An International student with decent qualifications ( 1560 SAT, bunch of ECs, good essays and recs) asking for lots of financial aid

Congrats! Yeah I knew Skidmore was a need aware school, it just looks like they are waitlisting people with financial need. Do you plan on attending?
@luca2fish thank you!! I’m still waiting on a few decisions, but Skidmore is a top choice for me, so I’ll likely attend!

We did not apply for financial aid. My son had 1410 SAT 31 ACT, ~4.2 grade point AP/honors classes. He visited the school twice and interviewed. Had full resume with volunteer work and very involved in his HS.
