I was accepted to all of these schools, and they’re all very different. I’ve only visited Skidmore once in the summer, and don’t know anyone at the other two schools. About me, I’m a liberal who likes being around other liberals but not people who take it in a very extreme way. Cost has been covered already, so that’s not an issue. I’m an artsy type of person. I’m not inclined to take part of greek life, and I’m not a smoker or drinker. If anyone has any insight at all, I would really appreciate it!!
My daughter will be attending skidmore. It is liberal leaning with a very highly regarded arts program with a lot of artsy kids. No Greek life and I’m sure on any of the campuses you mention you will find non smokers and non drinkers. Good luck with your decision!
Applied Skidmore and Franklin and Marshall. When visited Skidmore definitely liked that many of the students, no matter their major, were engaged in some form of the arts.
