Skip Calculus II for Calculus III

I actually took calculus II twice. However, was unable to finish the courses (officially withdrew once, and took an unofficial the second time around).

I wanted to do a math minor. I am a junior and my school limits me to 4 semesters (not including summers) to finish. I spoke with the department and they allowed me to enroll in calculus III even though I did not transfer credit for calculus II.

It seems according their catalog if i pass calculus III i will get placement credit for calculus III. Moreover, this will open up for spring to take linear algebra or differential, while senior year i take discrete mathematics and one or two other courses. I definitely need the prerequisite as soon as possible.

I feel my motivation will be low if i stay in calculus II which will probably be mostly freshman.

How do you guys feel about this:

 1. readiness for material of calculus III
 2. potential trouble this will cause when graduation comes - skipping the prerequisite (calculus II)

Thanks.
