I moved from a DoDDS School in Japan to Maryland recently. The school in Japan is the same has any high school in the US, they are accredited, they have offices in the states, they offer AP, etc. So don’t let that throw you off.
Well, the PG County school system isn’t looking too great, and i’m really ahead in my credits due to taking HS credits in middle school and doubling up in math last year.

Here’s what i already have taken:
4 Years of Foreign Lang., Including AP Japanese, exam passed.
PE & Health Credits done.
Honors History & Lang Arts (9, 10)
Alg. I & II, Geometry, Pre-Cal, AP Stats.
Biology & Chem done. (School didn’t offer honors)
I did S2S(Student to Student, you help out new kids and make school better), Student Government(Secretary & Vice Pres), Was just inducted to NHS, I tutored kids in Japanese last summer, and i’ve done a few other volunteer projects. (: Captain of XC team, Varsity soccer 2 years, JV Basketball 2 years.
Weighted GPA: 4.29
Unweighted: 4.0

So, my tentative schedules for the next 2 years are:
11th:
AP Lang, AP Cal. AB, AP Chem, APUSH, Cisco(i need 1 computer cred.), then 3 other elective classes that i don’t need.[probably just like Journalism, Religious education catholic school required, and something else.]

12th:

AP Lit, AP Cal. BC, AP Bio, AP Gov., Cisco II, (then once again… 3 more electives)

I want to attend University of Miami, Boston U, UC at Boulder, or a few other colleges in FL.
UM is my first choice, and i am almost positive in that. I want to do the Dual-Degree Honors Program for Medicine. I want to be an ob/gyn.
I got a 1720 [not so good], on my SATs last month, but taking it as a sophomore, i think i did decent. However, because of moving and accelerating i had to do, i wasn’t able to take my Subject Tests. ):

After counting up all my credits and talking to a counselor…
my other options are: taking a lazy senior year, half work/half school, half HS/half CC, or … Graduate Early… One that i am seriously considering right now, but i would like other input. Do colleges look down upon those students who do graduate early? In order to graduate early i would have to take 1 LA course over the summer, which is really no big deal to me. For me, i don’t want to waste my time in HS taking 4 or 5 AP classes that are just hard and miserable, and some of which don’t pertain to my course of study. Also, i find taking Calculus BC online @ HS something that i would not like to endure. And, if i’m taking half CC classes and half HS classes, i should just take 1 class over the summer so that i can be taking ALL University classes in one year… right?

As far as the whole “HS Experience”, since i just moved away from all of my friends and everything, if i start at my new school as a senior, i won’t really mind tbh. Also, i don’t really like Maryland, so it doesn’t bother me only being here for one year, haha. (:

I’m just looking for some input here, some advice, or some words of wisdom. I think i am pretty set on my decision to graduate early, but would that hurt my college potentials and such? Would it be regretted, do you think?
I believe that I am mature enough to live in the college environment, but am i fooling myself?
