Skrewed?

Would it be completely ridiculous to apply to a BA/MD if I don’t get a really high SAT score? When I say high I mean like at least a 2200. See the thing is that I have really competitive GPA and everthing, and I have pretty good ECs, but am I screwed without the good SAT?

I’d say at least try it. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen? (This is assuming that paying the application fee is not a problem for you). And I guess it would depend on your score. If you got, say 1600 on the new scale…then it would probably be pointless. If it’s fairly close to the average, go for it.

See I have been taking practice tests, and i have only been reaching a 2000, I don’t think this would really be up to par with the rest of the students applying to the programs who probably have at least a 2200 or so.

Sometimes it just depends on which program you apply to. You never know, merit can sometimes take you farther than scores.
