I was looking into the whole cell phone thing and wondered if anyone had tried using a Canadian BlackBerry with a Skype application and Skype international calling plan. The Skype plan is only 2 - 3 dollars a month, so I think I could probably save a considerable amount of money. Has this worked for anyone?</p>
<p>My D is at McGill. She has an iphone with Fido (Canadian company) and uses her Skype app all the time. Cheap and handy. Warning: Canadian cell phone companies charge more than we are used to in the states for cell phone service. Do your shopping and get the plan that will meet your minimum needs. We’re paying $80 per month…</p>
