Hi, Anyone else out there with a student going to University of Pittsburgh that rented an apartment at Skyvue for this fall?? I would love to hear your experience, because now my D has to live in a hotel because the building isn’t done. That means no kitchen, no laundry etc. I would love to know if anyone else has found skyvue very difficult to deal with in the past. As in, they lie about everything? I am concerned that when we go to check into the hotel for fall semester in 2 weeks(she goes early for an organization) that it is going to be a disaster. Thanks.
Theres a couple groups for pitt parents on fb and a parent said her dds subleter dropped out last minute just today so if you want to look for an alternative off campus, there are still opportunities. I had thought skyvue was a new bldg - do they have places elsewhere people would have experience with?

I couldn’t get them to
drop the lease. Now they are in hotels, which luckily are close to campus. They were told they would get 25 dollars a day perdiem on visa cards. They got the first 2 weeks okay, but just went to get the second card, and they “didn’t have them” so not sure what is going on…
Anyone else in pittsburgh having skyvue “issues” some students were told they would be in hotels until October, which is scary because my D is on the floor above these students the 10th floor, which means November??? Still no more perdiem visa cards available… :((
