Would IBSL math qualify for architecture in top colleges given a strong portfolio in addition to AP art and physics?
I’ve always hated math and considered it a risk to my GPA, but now beginning to have regrets in not taking AP

You may be entering the realm of ‘wink wink’ kind-of-required courses. Some of the top schools, especially those with Tech in their name, require a couple semesters of Algebra based physics. The general consensus is one semester of physics and one of baby Calculus. But if you stay there for an M.Arch or go elsewhere things may be different than if you’re doing a B.Arch in said top school. At the M.Arch level all bets may be off in terms of what they may want but again, a pair of Physics classes and one semester baby Calculus and you’ll be all set.
For any given university and any given major a bit of Googling can produce the ‘Major Sheet’ or curriculum requirements. Just to make it even more confusing, university core or foundation or GenEd type requirements may throw in a math class or another that may NOT show up as a required course.
In terms of what you’ll encounter in structures classes and the like, trigonometry would be very useful so if IBSL is light on trig, you may want to beef up there. I don’t think it is (my younger is in IB SL Math now and they do some pretty good trig work).
