<p>Hey, I heard that SL’s are guaranteed double rooms. Is this true?</p>
<p>I’m in a single right now because my roommate and I couldn’t get ANY doubles. If I get an SL position, what happens to my current room? Do I just drop it and go to the new one? Can I select a roommate then, or do I have to room with someone random? </p>

<p>my current roommate is trying to get a student leader position as well. she wants a double in a specific building so is trying to become its social chair. she’s got a roommate already, and in talking to her it sounded like her roommate would be carried over to the new room…
this tells me that they wouldn’t be trying to put two SLs in the same room, so i would think you could pick a roommate… but i really don’t know for sure.
maybe talk to your RA or the ORL?</p>
