Earlier today i was thinking about what i need to do to get into G-Town SFS to study Russia and Eastern European Area Studies, and it occurred to me, initially, how sad it is that we no longer value experience and education before age 18 except for their value in admissions. As a corrolary to that it occurred to me that it might be possible for there to be another school than the elite SFS that would have a Slavic Studies program that is just as competent and valuable without being THE school that SFS is. Does anyone know any?
