sleeping pills

do you have to be like in bed in order for them to work?

usually, how fast does it take for the to work

benedryl, my former sleeping pill of choice, took about an hour to kick in and when it did, it kicked in hardcore…meaning if you laid down you would be out for a solid 8-8hrs.

how much benedryl did you take?

I have tylenol pm…I haven’t really used it ever, but I’ve been having a bad sleeping pattern

wake up at 1:30 pm
go to bed at 4:00 am

I dont know, I get the pure stuff since my dad is a doctor so I just take one pill…forgot the mg dosage.

I like to overdose on children’s cough syrup, Triaminic.

Tylenol PM makes me feel tired in the morning.

Yeah IDK about sleeping pills, but I get high off of Elmers Glue!

Thought I might let you know. Since it makes me sleepy.

i usually take benedryl when i cant sleep- it works whether you’re in bed or not

Nothing really works well for me. Ironically, caffiene relaxes me and the only thing that could knock me out was a very strong medication called “clonadine”. However, that is prescription only and very addictive (I took it as a little kid to make me go to sleep).

You know what’s funny, though? I tried this sleeping pill the other night and washed it down with a glass of (caffinated) tea; there’s got to be some irony in that, even if it doesn’t give me the “highly awake” feeling it would give others. Of course, it didn’t work at all and I stayed up as usual.

wow…i wish i had like sleeping pills and awake pills…cuz then i could sleep for 3 hrs a day adn get so much more done

I took 2 tylenol pm pills…didn’t work

I still went to bed at like 4 woke up at 1…

Codeine…is…money

works like a charm

caffeine doesn’t relax you… it stimulates your brain and increases your heart rate… you may think it relaxes you due to your addiction to it… but that’s another story…the same can be said of nicoteine addicts

don’t you have to be prescribed codeine?

yea…when I had neck surgery they gave me a big ass bottle, I still have hella left over and use it in cases of severe pain…but it knocks you OUT, in less than an hour for me

OP: 9.5 hours is a ton of sleep, so you dont have insomnia, which is what pills are usually for. you have to force yourself to go on a more normal sleep schedule. you will probably be extremely tired the first few days, but within a week you should be on a more normal schedule

It isn’t the amount of hours that is bothering me…in the school year I only get 4-5, but in summer, I want to go to bed at a decent hour. I went in my bed at 2…couldn’t go to bed until like 4…

you should do a bunch of stuff during the day so you’re pooped at night and as soon as your head hits hte pillow you’ll fall asleep
