slight dip in grades junior year

My grades have always been pretty decent (3.4 u/w) gpa, but at the end of junior year the have dipped a little i have 3 a’s 3 b’s and a c (i went through some rough stuff at the begging of the semester that i don’t really want to get into) i have a SAT score of 1270 and good ec’s (varsity soccer, JV wrestling, Link crew NHS ect.) along with 2 AP and 1 honors class. But i know that colleges like an upward trend and am worried i will get denied because i dropped.
FYI most of the colleges i am looking at are mid level state schools such as the University of Wyoming, Colorado State, Colorado Mesa University, and Fort Lewis college.

my son is a sophomore at Ft Lewis - he got a small cycling scholarship and LOVES it and there. we are out of state but, they were remarkably transparent about what it took to get in. If you qualify for the Dean’s scholarship or better, you are highly likely to be admitted. With a 1270 SAT and a 3.0+ weighted (and all the required classes) should do the trick. If you can keep your GPA 3.25+, you get another $1k off your tuition.

I encourage you to call and ask… they are fantastic to work with.

my niece is a recent CSU grad and LOVED it. My sense if your weighted GPA is 3.5+, you’ll probably get in. Co Mesa, I don’t know as well my sense is you with a 3.3 and your SAT, you’ll probably get in. Same for UofWy.
